Your OH Sunrooms Appointment: What We’ll Cover

Knowing what to expect can help you prepare for a productive sunroom appointment.

Your OH Sunrooms design consultant will take time to understand what you want from the room, evaluate the space, explain the options that fit your home, and develop a recommendation for your project.

Please Allow Approximately 60–90 Minutes

Designing a sunroom involves important decisions about how you will use the room, how it will connect to your home, and which design and construction choices are right for the space.

Allowing 60–90 minutes gives your design consultant time to evaluate the area, explain the options, answer your questions, and, in most cases, prepare and review project-specific pricing with you. If additional time is needed, we will schedule a follow-up before leaving for a time that works for you, either at your home or in our showroom.

We strongly recommend that everyone involved in the project decision join the appointment. This gives each person an opportunity to participate in the conversation, hear the recommendations firsthand, and ask questions.

If a different appointment time would make it easier for everyone to participate in the full appointment, please let us know in advance. Our team will be happy to help.

A Recommendation Designed Around Your Home

Your design consultant will begin by learning how you want to use the sunroom and what matters most to you. Your consultant will then examine the area, take preliminary measurements, and determine how the room should connect to your home.

Using that information, your consultant will recommend a room design and construction approach that fit your home, goals, and budget.

Your consultant will walk you through the options that make the most sense for your project, including:

  • Patio covers; screen, 4-track, three-season, and year-round rooms
  • Studio and gable roof designs
  • Window, door, ventilation, and finish selections

Your consultant will explain the differences and recommend the room type, size, roof design, and construction approach that best support your goals and budget.

You will have time to ask questions and consider the recommendation. There is no pressure to make a decision during the appointment.

By the end of the appointment, you will understand the recommended approach for your home, your project pricing—or the plan for your pricing follow-up—and what happens next.

We look forward to meeting with you and helping you plan a sunroom that fits your home and the way you want to enjoy it.
